Self Portraits

All of this work explores the concept of “play.” Alone, with a camera. My interest is in the relationship to space, how it holds, what it evokes.

This gathering of images is a visual memoir of wanderings. Whether in a hotel room, cottage or campsite, they speak to a state of being that overtakes when the familiar drops away.

The images are of shadows and masks, asking “who” is looking. They are reflections in windows - the storefront world of a xmas tree, a red dress. They are portals.
